Instructions for Preparation of Manuscripts in Electronic Format

The process of electronic manuscript submission consists of three steps:

  1. Preparation of the manuscript using the provided style files.
  2. Creation of the manuscript Postscript or PDF file.
  3. Electronic submission of the manuscript Postscript or PDF file.

The required steps are explained below. Please contact CIT Editorial Office if you have any questions.

Step 1: Preparation of the Manuscript Using the Provided Style Files

Authors using LaTeX should use LaTeX CIT style files, which are available for download in zip or tar.gz format. Authors using MS Word should use the provided Word template.

Important: The authors' names and addresses should not appear in the body of the manuscript, to preserve anonymity in the review process.

If you use any other word processor, please make sure that your paper has the same layout and look as the sample paper.

Step 2: Creation of the Manuscript Electronic File

Manuscripts should be prepared using the provided styles or templates and submitted in Postscript (.ps) or PDF format. No other formats are accepted. Detailed instructions for creation of manuscript in the Postscript or PDF format are provided below.

LaTeX users may use dvips program to generate the document in the Postscript format.

MS Word users may generate the document in the Postscript format by selecting a Postscript printer and printing the document to a file. If you do not have a Postscript printer installed you can download Adobe Postscript Printer Driver for Windows. (Note that this driver does not require that you actually have a Postscript printer connected to your computer.)

Step 3: Electronic Submission of the Manuscript Electronic File

Once the manuscript electronic file is created, the manuscript should be submitted electronically using the paper submission form.
